Team NEO FAM Tour: Experience the Success!

Team NEO, Team Lorain County, and our regional partners recently hosted leading national site selection consultants for a “familiarization” (FAM) tour. We capitalized on the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction to showcase our region’s unique assets through weekend-long events that offered one-of-a-kind opportunities to have a great time, while meeting regional business leaders and learning why Northeast Ohio is a great place for business. OESI Honors Team Lorain County Board Member Maureen Cromling

Maureen M. Cromling, Chairman of the Board of the Ross Companies and Team Lorain County Board Member, was recently honored by the Ohio Environmental Service Industries (OESI) when they presented her with the OESI Outstanding Service Award. OESI is a trade association of Ohio's commercial hazardous waste management facilities and associated businesses. Members of the organization provide waste storage, treatment, disposal and recycling services. Business Connection Completes Inaugural Year

Business Connection Completes Their Inaugural Year In June 2009, The Lorain County Growth Partnerships’ Business Connection program successfully completed its inaugural year.  The program exceeded goals by completing 104 interviews and creating a county-wide database of over 5,000 Lorain County businesses.  Companies that participated were targeted based on a sampling of location, size and industry.  The group found that despite the sluggish economy, 56% of the companies interviewed indicated that they plan to expand their business locally within the next few years.  Total investment is estimated at more than $80 million dollars and is expected to create more than 400 ...
