Manager, Special Projects
Professional: 

Pam Fechter joined Team Lorain County in May of this year and has been appointed to Manager, Special Projects.  Ms. Fechter is charged with the maintenance and expansion of the Procure System, county wide property management database.  Prior to joining Team Lorain County Ms. Fechter served as the Membership Director for the Allen Chamber of Commerce in Allen, Texas.  There she was responsible for the maintenance and expansion of a 600+ membership.  While serving as Membership Director, Ms. Fechter was also responsible for all fundraising, networking, and volunteer events sponsored by the chamber.  During her time in Allen she also graduated from the 2004 Leadership Allen program.

Community Involvement: 

In Texas, Ms. Fechter was appointed by County Commissioner to the Health Care Advisory Board in Collin County.  In Ohio, she served as co-chair for the Community Resource Services annual Charity Ball in 2005.  She has also served in various roles in the PTA organization both in Texas and Ohio.  Recently, Ms. Fechter volunteered with the Parish Nursing Program at Community Health Resources performing research and program development for their outreach program.   

Education: 

Ms. Fechter is currently enrolled at Lorain County Community College where she is pursuing a bachelor degree in Urban Affairs from Cleveland State University through the University Partnership program.  Last semester Ms. Fechter interned with Mayor Jean Anderson in Vermilion in the area of Economic Development.  She was also awarded the Outstanding Student in Public Administration in May of 2008.  Prior to this Ms. Fechter earned an Associates Degree in Applied Science from Central Virginia Community College in Lynchburg, Virginia.
